Gabe Perez-Giz


Gabe Perez-Giz is the Training Specialist in PICSciE and a Lecturer in the Program in Applied and Computational Mathematics (PACM) at Princeton University. He oversees the ongoing development and deployment of computing training for the Princeton research community and spearheads efforts to provide more cohesion among existing training efforts in different departments and institutes across campus. Gabe also works with external partners to bring more specialized training opportunities to Princeton. Prior to coming to Princeton, Gabe taught Physics at Columbia, wrote and hosted two successful YouTube shows for PBS Digital Studios, served as a AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellow at NSF, and was a postdoc at NYU. He received his B.S. in Applied Physics and his M.A. and Ph.D. in Physics, all from Columbia University.
