Description
Visualizing your data is a crucial component of research, as it allows you to verify, explore, and communicate your findings more effectively. This session will walk through easy-to-implement guidelines for (1) exploring data, and (2) transforming data into charts and graphics that effectively communicate your research findings. Examples produced in R and Python will be provided.

- Learn general guidelines for creating effective visuals (commonly referred to as charts, graphs, plots, etc.)
- Understand different visualization approaches for exploratory versus reporting phases of research
- Practice implementing guidelines for effective visuals
