Currently Mapped Buildings
TigerNav allows you to get directions between both outdoor and indoor locations. You can type in any indoor or outdoor location on campus, and route to any other indoor or outdoor location on campus. Additionally, undergraduate students’ dorms, professors’ offices, and graduate students’ offices are linked to their names. You can also search between any indoor location and a nearest bathroom, printer cluster, or laundry room. Finally, there is an “Advanced Search” option, where you can select “stairs only” and avoid all elevators or select “accessible” for routes that are wheelchair accessible indoors.
TigerNav has two pages, the search page and the results page.
Here, you can see the search page that loads (with the advanced search options displayed). By typing into the dropdown, possible options will be displayed for you to select. Once selections have been made for both the start and the destination, press “Get Directions”.
By typing in “hall” to the start box, the dropdown suggests all buildings containing “Hall” in their name, along with any students or professors with “hall” in their name. The user can then select an option which will automatically populate the start box.
Here, you can see sample results using our outdoor direction capabilities from Nassau Hall to Fine Hall. Directions are shown below. If there were multiple steps, you would be able to toggle between them using next and previous buttons or the arrow keys. You can also search again using the boxes at the top, with the same dropdowns and use as the search page.
We unfortunately cannot show a screenshot of indoor directions due to the sensitive nature of the floor plans that our indoor directions involve.
